Rosie ’ s Girls Summer Workshops from June 26 to August 25 . As Vermont faces a looming shortage of workers in the construction trades , two Vermont nonprofits have teamed up to help close the gap . For five weeks this summer , Vermont Works for Women and HatchSpace ( a community woodworking facility ) will host carpentry camps for girls at their downtown Brattleboro workshop . Downtown Gallery Walk . On the first Friday of every month from May through December , 5pm to 9pm , you will find something for everyone at the Gallery Walk . Jugglers tossing glowing batons , kids and grownups dancing in the streets to some of the best live music around , Brattleboro Flea , an uber-hip flea market featuring 30-plus local artisans , and nearly 20 art galleries with new exhibits . Fireworks are back at Stratton for the annual Fourth of July weekend celebration !
