We are also excited to update you on Stratton Mountain Resort’s 2019–2020 capital projects plan. These initiatives include continued lift improvements, sports center and golf course upgrades, the introduction of mountain biking for families, beginners, and adventure enthusiasts, and overall enhancements to create the most enjoyable guest experience for all ages. And what would summer be in Southern Vermont without music and theatre? Throughout the area performances include 10,000 Maniacs and the Little River Band at Stratton, The Blue Mountain Bluegrass & Roots Festival in Manchester, Judy Collins at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, and Natalie Merchant at the Dorset Playhouse. Additionally, the Dorset Theatre Festival season will reunite two alumni, Peri Gilpin and Dan Butler, from the NBC sitcom Frazier in the production of Slow Food by Wendy MacLeod.
