The first phase of a multi-year , multi-million-dollar investment in snowmaking brings another 160 HDK KLIK hydrants to favorite Stratton Mountain trails including Frank ’ s Fall Line , Mike ’ s Way , West Meadow , Drifter Link , and Old Log Road . With 95 percent snowmaking coverage , KLIK greatly enhances snow quality at any given temperature . It also expedites start-up by leaving air and water hoses connected and climate protected at all times . In a 12-hour snowmaking window , these new hydrants can boost snowmaking production by as much as 100 %, when compared to using traditional hydrants and hoses .

Stratton Mountain has partnered with the MOOver , Southern Vermont ’ s fare free public transit system , offering a route between Manchester and Stratton Mountain Resort , making 4 to 8 round trips daily . This sought-after route will provide Stratton Mountain employees , guests , and neighbors access seven days a week from mid-November through March . The MOOver starts at Stratton Mountain Resort at 5:10am weekdays , and 4:40am on weekends , then makes its way down to Manchester , making stops at the Econo Lodge , Travelodge Chalet , Manchester Town Offices , route 7A at Walgreens , and behind Northshire Bookstore .
