November 21 & December 12 Hildene , The Lincoln Family Home , Manchester The public is welcome to join a local birding group to conduct a survey of the wild birds present on the grounds of Hildene . Children ’ s Fairy House Workshop
November 21 Merck Forest & Farmland Center , Rupert Fairy Houses and Gnome Homes : tiny houses for wee creatures . Small Business Saturday
November 28 Helping kick off the holiday shopping season alongside Black Friday and Cyber Monday . Small Business Saturday has historically been a significant sales event for Vermonters and business owners . The nationwide initiative encourages consumers to shop local , supporting small businesses , bolstering local economies , and keeping shopping dollars in-state .
Christmas in 1912 : Holiday Décor in the Hildene Mansion
December 3 – January 1 Hildene , The Lincoln Family Home , Manchester Robert & Mary Lincoln ’ s home will be decorated for the holidays . Guests will find a holiday tree and all the trimmings throughout the home and for the month of December . Enjoy live music on most weekends , permitting *.
