Looking for food and drink with a view ? Grizzly ’ s in the Base Lodge is still open Friday-Sunday through the fall . Grab a table on the deck and enjoy a craft cocktail , wood-fired pizza , fresh salads and sharing plates and soak up the fall colors . Keep an eye on your kids as they lap through the Bike Park , or kick up your feet after hiking or taking a scenic lift ride . 2024 is Clear Brook Farm ’ s 30th season growing bedding plants and certified organic vegetables and fruits . It all started with just one greenhouse , one acre of vegetables , and a wooden table under a maple tree . The farm has expanded over these past 30 years to include forty-five acres of land in cultivation , as well as several more greenhouses , and deeply-rooted connections to the community it serves . The farm stand , open June through early October , is the main sales outlet for their locally grown produce and plants , along with various CSA programs . Join us in Brattleboro as we celebrate the dynamic literary history of Southeastern Vermont ! The Brattleboro Literary Festival is a three-day annual festival founded in 2002 . It has grown from year to year to become one of the region ’ s most significant annual events , and has presented over 900 authors , including winners of the Pulitzer Prize , National Book Award , National Book Critics Circle Award , Women ’ s Prize , Newbery Medal , and Caldecott Medal , among others . Festival headquarters will be located in the Brooks House Lobby at 132 Main Street . Inside you will find the pop-up bookstore , hosted by Wild Book Company in Newfane , VT . Local and international artists and community leaders bring to life this year ’ s theme : Just Around the Bend . The festival celebrates the thriving art of Puppet Theater as a means of enhancing perspectives , generating compassion , and celebrating the human spirit . The festival offers something for everyone with family shows , shows for adults , workshops , and forum discussions , all in and around the Brattleboro area of Southern Vermont .
