In this issue of STRATTON Magazine alone , we celebrate not one , not two , but THREE golden anniversaries . We congratulate Stratton Mountain School , Tilting at Windmills ( page 52 ), and The Carlos Otis Stratton Mountain Clinic ( page 96 ) on achieving this momentous milestone !
And what better demonstrates BRAVERY and EFFORT than having the courage to embark as an entrepreneur on a new endeavor , as seen in our spotlights of Brooks Addington ( page 10 ) and Christian Hoff ( page 18 )?
At its core , Food Connects , featured in “ Giving Back ” ( page 58 ), certainly focuses on responsibility and ACCOUNTABILITY in ensuring sustainable community food initiatives for all .
And the fascinating features on The Rice Family / Equipe Sport ( page 30 ) and the re-invention of the Dorset Colony House by Adele and Herman Raspé ( page 62 ) demonstrate RESPECT for the past , while also having the STRENGTH to look to the future .
As we celebrate this holiday season and look ahead to the new year , I want to thank the community at large for working together and navigating the outstanding challenges we all faced in 2021 . And , of course , I wish you all a happy , healthy , and fulfilling 2022 .
