Strategic Prayer for the Nations
Dear faithful intercessor,“ O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth” Psalm 54:2.
“ And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him” I John 5:14-15.
That says it all. Let us pray with this confidence. Africa
• Pray for the areas of Africa, especially the Democratic Republic of Congo( DRC), where Ebola is breaking out. Many are sick, and some are dying, aching to be cleansed of this scourge. There is also continued violence in the DRC. Pray for the families of our Village Church Planting workers who are grieving their lost loved ones from violence and disease.
• Villages in Ethiopia are being transformed by the Gospel message. Thank God for the work he has done, and pray for the ones whose lives are being transformed by the power of the Spirit at work in them.
• Pray for university students from Mozambique who are studying in Taiwan and attending English fellowship and worship. Intercede for them as their studies are rigorous and demanding.
Asia / Pacific
• Pray for the pastors, missionaries, and church workers in the northern regions of South Asia where extreme temperatures continue to pose significant challenges. Pray for God’ s protection, strength, good health, and endurance as they carry out their ministries under difficult conditions.
• Please pray for the Wesleyan Holiness Summer Seminar, June 29-July 10 in Korea. Seminary and church leaders from the Philippines, South Asia, Cameroon, Central Asia, and Nigeria are expected to attend the seminar at Seoul Theological University. Pray for safe travels and ease of entry and exit for all.
• Pray as plans progress to build a new seminary in Taiwan. While the land was secured 18 years ago, ground-breaking will take place soon. May God be glorified even in the building of this campus and then for years to come as church leaders are trained.
