Strategic Prayer for the Nations
Dear intercessors,
“ And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”( Philippians 4:7 ESV).
As we offer these prayers for the One Mission Society( OMS) regions, fields, missionaries, and national partners, we seek peace for them and the places where they serve.
Africa
• Pray for the Village Church Planting supervisor s’ meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, in May. Pray for the safety of the supervisors and leaders as they travel and for success in meeting the objectives for their time together.
• Two new African missionary couples have joined the West Africa Missionary Movements, an initiative that builds upon OMS’ extensive ministry in C entral and S outhern Africa to move north and evangelize areas dominated by another religion. Pray for God’ s constant direction and protection over these couples as they follow the Spirit.
• Continue praying for the new Dynamic Women in Missions supervisor for Africa as she starts coaching, training, and mentoring 18 women. May the women begin well and build on that foundation.
Asia / Pacific
• Pray for the Vacation Bible School teachers’ training taking place in India. Pray that teachers may be well-equipped to minister effectively to the children. Thank God for their willingness to serve, and pray that they will be blessed for the time and attention they give to the children.
• Pray for God’ s direction and peace as OMS South Korea becomes a missionary sending country. Ask for God’ s plan to unfold before them as the leaders follow him.
• Pray for about 70 church multiplication facilitators who were trained in the Philippines from April 30 to May 1. May the Holy Spirit inspire and empower them as they move out in faith.
Europe / Middle East
• Pray that the Purim and Passover care packages distributed in an Israeli city will bear lasting fruit among Jews and Arabs, opening doors to meaningful relationships and ministry. Pray for lasting peace in the Middle Eas t.
• Pray for the busy camp season coming up this summer with two camps in Spain and three in Hungary. Many volunteers and interns will be participating to make these
