Strategic Prayer for the Nations - Sept 2026

September 2026
Strategic Prayer for the Nations
Dear friend,
As we pray for God’ s work around the world
, let us remember this promise from Psalm 145:18
( ESV) for ourselves and
those whom we pray for:“ The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all
who call on him in truth.”
Africa
• Continue to pray for the protection and health of our workers and their families in Africa. Ebola in the Democratic Republic of the Congo( DRC) remains an extremely serious problem.
• Pray for the small group of women in the DRC who were able to attend the Dynamic Women in Missions training last week. Ebola may have kept some away from the training, but God will use those who did attend to grow his kingdom. Pray for an end to Ebola.
• Praise God for the donors who gave to the 2025 Give Hope This Christmas campaign. Recently, c hurch planters with the Village Church Planting ministry in the DRC and Burundi received bicycles, which will facilitate more efficient ministry. Pray for the safety of those riding across their regions and spreading the Gospel, similar to the circuit riders of old!
Asia / Pacific
• Pray for all who are preparing for the 2027 Juan Project conference in the Philippines as they finalize the details of the event to take place in January.
• Pray for God’ s continued hand of blessing on the Taiwan Holiness Church as they just celebrated their 100 th anniversary. The Central Taiwan Theological College and S eminary will celebrate its 75 th anniversary in November. Praise God for what he has done and for what he will do in each. We also give thanks for the new land acquired for the new seminary location.
• Pray for the team developing a new action plan for an OMS field in South Asia. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide them toward creativ e next steps.
Europe / Middle East
• Pray for the World Intercessor s team of five going to Camp Peña de Horeb in Spain, September 8 – 16. Their assignment is to pray for the camp staff, camp grounds, and the surrounding area. Ask God to open doors that will bring the local people to faith in Christ in the surrounding communities.
