• Pray for the OMS Embarkers in the Asia / Pacific region this summer: Steven, Haven, Ezekiel, Kim, and Jesse in Thailand; Landon, Andrew, Ian, Kage, and Yuki in Japan. Ask God to open their eyes to his goodness.
Europe / Middle East
• Pray for students from Asbury University who are in Hungary, partnering with the OMS Hungary team to serve mor e than 90 campers attending English camp this summer. Pray for fruitfulness as they lead and for the campers as they take their English learning to the next level. We also pray that the Holy Spirit will draw them even closer to God the Father.
• Pray for the Embarkers who are in Europe this summer: Angel, Kaitlynn, and Peyton in Hungary; Maddox and Karlee in Spain; Mya in Northern Ireland. May God speak to them about his plans for their futures.
• Pray for peace talks in the Middle East to be effective, long-lasting, and just.
• Ask God for a local apprentice at Agape Bici, the bike shop in Catania, Italy, who not only can learn the trade, but also be a person of peace to help grow relationships in the community.
Latin America / Caribbean
• Pray for Vac ation Bible School opportunities in churches in northern Brazil. We ask for connections among pastors and leaders to be opened, and for conversations to lead to ways to reach more children with the Gospel.
• More Embarkers are serving in Latin America and need your prayers: Daniel and Lorraine in Colombia; Amelia, Steven, and Isaiah in Mexico. Pray for them as they go about their daily activities and at night as they recall all God did through them that day.
• A pastor in Peru needs a van for use in his growing children’ s ministry that would also be used by short-term mission teams while they work in Lima. Will you pray for the funds needed to purchase this van and for the multiplication of ministry it will enable? They have been praying for a while, and our prayers might just be the push they need.
As you pray, will you remember the many missionaries who returned to the States to attend the 125 th anniversary celebration and are now visiting family and supporters? Pray for safe travels as they return to their fields. Thank you for praying with us.
