I

consider myself extremely lucky to
count a number of talented writers
and artists amongst my friends and
acqauaintances. Andy Davy is a friend
who not only survived a round-the
-world trip with me and all that entails,
but is also one of those people who
has been there for some profound periods of my life in terms of music, art
and general outlook.
Flicking through his scetchbooks is a
real pleasure for me whenever we get
to catch up, having watched him develop his style and confidence with colour and stylised detail. The work here
is only a small selection of his output,
and in the last few years he’s broadened out into stencil one-off t-shirts
and skateboard designs (as seen top
right, and bottom left). Having gotten
me into longboarding in the first place,
it’s this last one that I would love to
see him pursue in the future.
