Over the year I have had a lot going on with sports and other activates that I have been involved in this year. But being as busy as I was I still made time to meet new people close to home. The whole merger with North Fayette and Valley has changed me a lot. I have met a lot of students from Valley that I had no idea that they lived so close to me. Where I am located is right on the edge of the North Fayette and Valley schools distract line. But now that we are North Fayette Valley things have changed for both schools and has help the sports and kids in every area.
Being in sports has been a great reaction this year for me because I started varsity on offence and on defense. Meeting the kids from Valley was kind of weird at first because I did not know who they were or much of them. But over the football season I began to talk to them and then became great friends with a lot of them. This year was a great year for NFV football because we made it all the way to the semifinals playing against Iowa City Regina. I think that no one ever thought we were going to be this good in football this past year but we proved our communities wrong.
