Happy New Year?
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High,
your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come
near your dwelling; Psalm 91:9-10
I
t’s no use saying that I wish you a
wonderful new year. I may even
wish for it, but we know that this
world is coming to an end and the
return of Jesus is coming. Each year
will inevitably be worse than the
previous one.
To ensure that you will be saved from
the evil that this world is suffering,
it is necessary to have a covenant
with God. It is written that no evil
shall come upon him who dwells in
the hiding place of the Most High.
Make Him your refuge. Make of Him
your protection, your sanctuary. Take
refuge in His presence and believe
in the promise made by God who
can not lie: “No evil shall befall you,
nor shall any plague come near your
dwelling”
Begin this year in the presence of
God. Everything that starts well, ends
well. Even though the world is falling
around you, you will have peace
within you. Even though this year, to
the world, is worse than the previous
one, there will be abundant blessings
in the lives of those who have been
faithful to God and made His dwelling
place.
This certainty that you are safe is
conscious faith. The faith that causes
storms to pass by, on the verge of
the wind. This faith holds in the most
cruel times, is consistent and makes
you feel confident that no matter
what happens, you will be safe.
Choose to dwell in the hiding place of
the Most High and secure a new year
of victories.
