SPIRITUAL CLEANSING B efore I used to suffer from depression, suicidal thoughts a n d a low self-esteem. After my invitation to the Help Centre, I took part in the services and, slowly, my life started to change. But things did not change completely because I was still holding back and pretending to everyone that I was okay. My main issues were spiritual attacks, constant suicidal thoughts and the feeling of disappointment with my life. And I had problems during the nights where I felt that I couldn’t breathe. One day, I couldn’t take these problems anymore, so I opened my heart to God and told Him that I wanted to be completely free from the life I had. From then on, I started my journey for deliverance. It took a while but I was determined to be free, so I continued to open my heart at every service. Today, my life has changed completely. I am happy and mentally stronger. Now, when I have a problem, whether it is big or small, I take it straight to God. We’ve all heard this famous quote from the movie ‘Rocky’, and it’s often used as a motivational tool for people to keep going, against the odds, and against whatever resistance they encounter in life. Unfortunately, as time goes by, the more the ‘enemy’ hits, people feel ‘hitting back’ just isn’t doing anything until, one day, they stop hitting back altogether. They think the problem will go away on its own, but this is not true. Whether you decide to fight back against the enemy or not, he will always fight you – regardless – hitting you, until life feels like it’s becoming unbearable. Then, you get to a point where life gets stuck in the same cycle, of taking one step forward and three steps back. I am sure you’ve asked why does this happen? Why some people never seem to make progress in specific areas or, are there such things as curses? Could it be coincidence or bad luck? Call it whatever you like but, the truth is, STRONG FRIDAY OF DELIVERANCE STOP SUFFERING|08
