They found bleeding in my brain
Who would have thought that a simple headache would become a serious health problem? In the case of businesswoman Roseli de Almeida Lopes, pain was indicative of a serious problem that nearly led her to death. The headaches seemed common, until the day she felt a different problem.“ I moved my arm and felt something very strange. It was as if inside my head something was loose. It was painful,“ she says.
From that moment on, Roseli had joined meetings at the UCKG.“ I knew I needed divine help and would have to put my problem in God’ s hands,” she says. Roseli underwent the medical procedure. The surgery was successful and the doctor was surprised by her recovery, which was very fast. There was a high rate of paralysis on one side of her face after the surgery but it didn’ t happen to her.
Roseli took a painkiller, as usual, but the pain persisted. Her husband brought her to the hospital and after being treated she was directed to go home. However, the pain came back the next day. The drugs she was taking were no longer effective and Roseli spent 15 days going to the hospital to take stronger medications. Because of the severe pain, she stopped working. She spent all day in a dark room, pressing her head with her hand to relieve the pain.“ I was going crazy with the pain and I didn’ t know what to do,” she says. A month later, Roseli woke up feeling a sharp pain in her chest. Then she lost her voice.“ When I realized that my voice would not come out, I was desperate, only asking God for help,” she says.
Roseli went back to the hospital and demanded the doctors to tell her what was really going on. She underwent a CT scan, and they found bleeding in her brain.“ The doctors called my husband and informed that I would have to undergo a high-risk surgery, it was brain aneurysm. They reported that this was a problem from birth and that the surgery was delicate and could leave abnormalities“ she says.
Faith and determination were absolutely necessary for Roseli to survive.“ I sought God, for only He could perform this miracle. Every meeting I received a word of encouragement and faith. Today I am healed,“ said the businesswoman.
