STUDENTS PERFORM AT REGENT
THEATRE’S DANCE FESTIVAL
enior
girls
from
St
Dominic’s Priory School, in
Stone, were invited to
perform at the Regent
Theatre’s Dance Festival last
month. This year, the annual
Festival followed a special theme
to mark 100 years since the
outbreak of World War One.
The
Festival
involved
performers from schools across
the region and included many
moving
and
memorable
performances to commemorate
all those who had suffered from
their involvement in the war.
St Dominic’s Priory School
girls from Years 8 to 11
performed a spectacular nine
minute piece entitled ‘A Soldiers
Journey’, which involved the
reflections of a soldier telling his
S
family about the experiences he
had felt before, during and after
the Great War.
Huge congratulations were
expressed to all the girls who
performed.
