brilliantly schooled horses and their team of brave
riders perform some breath-taking stunts,
including vaulting on and off galloping horses.
The two daily fully choreographed shows, with
music and commentaries will have showgoers
gasping in amazement at the speed and agility with
which the riders and horses perform their stunts
and tricks. Gerard Naprous, head of the Naprous
family who run the The Devils Horsemen, said:
“We have been involved in training horses for
many years for films and television shows in
addition to county shows and the latest was the
epic War Horse film and Joey is one of the horses
we trained and own.”
Gerard’s son Dan is acknowledged as one of the
best trick riders in Europe and he has appeared in
many films and TV and has worked alongside
Richard Gere and Sean Connery. The shows
planned for the main ring at Staffordshire County
will be fast, furious and very, very exciting for all
family members.
