Great emphasis has been placed, by the organisers, the Staffordshire and Birmingham Agricultural Society, on providing a memorable two-day show for showgoers, exhibitors and competitors alike. In addition to all the agricultural livestock classes, there is a show for dogs, which attracts more than 1,000 entries. This year there will be a special display by Canine Partners, the charity which provides highly trained dogs to help disabled people who spend their days in wheelchairs. The Staffordshire County Show has become renown for the wide and varied attractions including an antiques marquee, a vintage agricultural machinery parade, as well as the opportunity for showgoers to buy, say a Landrover or a Porche, a new kitchen range, a deer stalker to a set of garden furniture or a hot tub.
