A show for all the family
he 2014 Staffordshire County Show set to take
place on Wednesday and Thursday 28th and
29th May will see the equine star of
blockbuster film War Horse galloping around
the main ring at Stafford.
Joey, the star of Steven Spielberg’s epic World
War One film, will be seen in a totally different
role, that of a cowboy’s mount in a Wild West
family entertainment show being staged by the
internationally famous The Devils Horsemen. It is
just one of a series of main attractions which have
been booked for the two-day show, which falls

during Bank Holiday week, and which once again
promises something for all members of the family
to enjoy.
There will be no fewer than ten major shows
within the main event and it is expected that more
than 70,000 people will flock to the 110 acre
Staffordshire County Showground for the mid
week event. It will feature more than 400 trade
stands, 1,200 horses, and collectively more than
1,500 cattle, sheep, pigs and goats - making it the
biggest agricultural show in the Midlands
where town meets country in an extravaganza
