The roads over the years in this area haven’t changed much until fairly recently. I remember hiking into areas because even the two-track wasn’t passable. For years, two tracks were the only rough passage into the valleys. Now mining roads are wide and long, bisecting the area, as signs of mine exploration show up over the entire area. Wild horses are being squeezed out of their rightful and lawfully protected areas in order to appease ranchers and mining interests.

We all have a voice. Please remember to use your voice as you speak to your legislators and vote in each and every election.

Remember our wild horses have no voice unless each one of us speaks for them.
