The road ahead is a rough one. Propaganda, politics and corruption flourish as our public resources pay the price.

WHE, with your help, has built a strong foundation to fight back. Our range work is a ten year testimony of the reality our wild horses struggle to survive in. Together we will continue to fight back. ~ Thank you!

The journey of WHE has covered over a million miles in the last decade; increased public awareness, educated news media and Congress, created an amazing litigation record that changed policy. Happy Birthday WHE!

Our work is specialized and focuses on the "wild" wild horse; the range, capture and holding by the federal government until a horse is adopted or sold.

Our wild horses are the only animal in our nation defined by where they stand, not what they are biologically. The land they stand, your public land, is critical to their survival.

One of WHE's board members could not make the trip. Marie keeps a "stand in" warm at sunset for Juley.
