• Fencing of the gully produced a significant increase in pasture biomass at the site , however , the clearing of the smaller , unfenced , gully site by the landholder , negated the ability to make meaningful comparisons between the fenced and unfenced areas .
• Gully head retreat continued despite good ground cover above the main head cut .
• There was limited noticeable difference in stability or instability of the gullies , but there was a marked increase in rubbervine on the site .
