Collect for the Feast of Saint Columba( 9 th June)
O God, who by the preaching of thy blessed servant Saint Columba, didst cause the light of the Gospel to shine in these islands: Grant, we beseech they that, having his life and labours in remembrance, we may shew forth our thankfulness unto thee for the same by following the example of his zeal and patience, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Finding Faith Glasgow
The internet is a wonderful, but sometimes weird, thing and employing the ubiquitous Google Search engine can often take you down roads you’ ve never travelled before – and occasionally ones you have no desire to revisit!
In search of inspiration for a“ filler” for the last space in this month’ s StOM, I entered Faith Glasgow to see what liturgical gems, ripe for plagiarism, might be lurking there.
Up popped a promising, but entirely misleading, link to what proved to be the LinkedIn site of Faith Glasgow: Editor at Money Observer
What a pity people googling Faith Glasgow, in search of consumer advice, don’ t come up with links to St Oswald’ s as a guide through the trials and travails of modern life!
