Vestry Report
The meeting started in silence to remember Robert Fleetwood, his service to the Vestry and congregation of St Oswald’ s, Paula, James and family at this time.
Prayer for the sick and those on the congregational list and this period of reflection concluded with The Lord’ s Prayer.
There were absences which had an impact on the number of reports presented resulting in only two – from the Treasurer and Secretary. The lack of reports did not, however, result in the meeting finishing any earlier!
Lengthy discussions took place regarding a number of matters on which it was decided the Vestry would benefit from the assistance of more knowledgeable persons within the Diocese.
There was also clarification required regarding communication access when in the building and the phone.
Concerns were raised regarding easy access to contact numbers for other Southside Priests and these were printed in the meeting minutes *.
