The course is provided for us by the British Red Cross and will run from 10 am to 2.30 pm, with a break for lunch (provided). There are a small number of free places available for any St Oswald’s congregation members (over 16 years) who would like to take part. This is a basic, practical, hands-on course for anyone who wants to feel more ready to help with an emergency in their daily life. (It does not meet statutory workplace requirements and does not place any responsibilities on participants.) You will receive a free First Aid manual and certificate of learning. If you would like to book a place get in touch with: Willie Whitelaw, Men’s Shed Development Worker, on 07597 564 149 or email: [email protected] First come, first served. StOM Page 13
