I and two others did the walk. We started the walk from the Cancer Research shop at Anniesland Cross where I am a volunteer. We were very fortunate as the weather that day could not have been better for walking. We first made our way to the Botanic Gardens and then on to the Kelvinbridge. We then made our way to the Beatson after which we then made our way back to Anniesland. The walk was five miles long and it took us two hours and ten minutes. We were given a plate of homemade soup which was delicious, followed by tea and cake given to us by Carol the Manager. The sponsorship money I received from the kind people of St. Oswald's amounted to £164. I also received £43 from the public while out doing the walk. Thank you all once again for your kindness in helping Cancer Research. Gladys . 10
