One thing that gave me particular happiness was walking into the city centre on Friday morning to do the weekend shopping. As I went through Micklegate Bar I thought how different it was from walking along Clarkston Rd. Added to that the fact that I had shopping trolley with me would surely make it obvious that I was no longer a visitor but a resident! Another advantage of being here is seeing James and his family. James came and helped with the unpacking on Tuesday and on Saturday he, Louise and the children came over to see me. They all approved of the house and were able to take away some of the folded boxes which had been emptied of books for use by friends who are also moving house. I have friendly neighbours who have cats, just as I did in Cathcart. I hope all is well at St Oswald’s Paula Many a True Word Yvonne, Emily , Thea and I went to the Spring Harvest local event. Hands were raised high in praise! The speakers were encouraging us to have hope. It was all about the prayer we must keep going with if we want to see the growth of our faith in Scotland. Did I mention that hands were raised high lol. Maranatha, 16 Lesley-ann
