Vestry notes The Vestry meeting took place on Tuesday 3 April 2018.
There was a lengthy discussion regarding the vacancy for a Property Convenor and that in the majority of building matters it is the Priest who has had to process the issues, for example the recent broken windows and the outcome action to be taken from that.
We do have operational security lights around the outside of the church.
Grateful thanks to John and Giovanna for being good neighbours and looking out for the church. Thank you to Carol-Anne and Matthew for ensuring the church is kept clean.
All were reminded about their personal safety as well as“ safeguarding” and should not be alone in the premises.
The community projects are going well- Feeding Station and Yoga. Recent outreach distribution to all the shops in area of Easter eggs, a card and leaflets for“ the Real Easter”, and thanked for their service to the community.
Vestry meeting continued with update from- Treasurer, PVG Officer, People’ s and Priest’ s Warden.
Letter to be sent to the gardener as the grounds are showing signs of Spring.
Ascension Day- Joint Service at St Oswald’ s Kings Park,( 7:30 pm Thursday 10 / 05 / 18). The Vestry will provide cakes, tea & coffee.
Diocesan Synod( rescheduled), Kilmarnock, Sat 12 / 5 / 18. Thanks to Emily who minuted the meeting in the absence of the secretary.
