The building has needed a great deal attention in the last two and a half years as well. If we are to welcome in new people and encourage them to stay, we need a nice, safe home.
This is not just my job 😊. Volunteers are needed to help with the up keep.
Not the cleaning but the form filing, setting the heating timers, the safety checks, making appointments with electricians and being there when work is being carried out.
Decorating the church space for festivals. Keeping the church space appropriate for use always.
And how can you help St Oswald’ s to grow in number and in faithful service?
1.
Prayer and volunteering
2.
If you can’ t volunteer pray for the volunteers and tell them you
are praying.
3.
Talk positively to others about the exciting things that happen at
the church.
4.
Don’ t let the burden of growth be carried by a few people.
If we pray together we will be joyful, and it will encourage others to join us.
