Avoid the latest fad diet or gimmick. Juice diets, carb-restrictive diets, meal replacement diets…. They may help in the short-term, but they’re out of the question in the long-term. They’d eventually become pretty detrimental to your health. As I said earlier; it’s a case of everything in moderation. Just cutting back on the junk; the fizzy drinks, processed food, deep-fried food, fast-food, the cakes, crisps and biscuits is all that most people need to do to see marked improvements as far as body fat and general health go. Cutting them out completely even more so. The occasional walk on the dietary darkside if fine (the emphasis being squarely on the word ‘occasional’, I hasten to add), but those bad habits creep back surprisingly quickly if you give them half a chance.
