A reminder of the past

The Canberra Times recently ran a story with a photo reminding some of us of when an Arthur Wicks sculpture , Emanuel , was installed as an alternative contemporary response to a Christmas Tree outside our church in 1968 . Others did not remember it at all . Here is the photo ( incorrectly locating the church in Dickson ):
