Before & After Translation
NARR: This assertion is reinforced by the demonstrable and irrefutable
fact that the foregoing did not take place in an unaccompanied state:
TRANS: For thou art with me.
NARR: And that further assistance was rendered by a pastoral walking
aid and quadruped pick-up unit inducing a pleasurific mood-state.
TRANS: They rod and staff, they comfort me.
NARR: It is advised that nutritional arrangements are entered into in the
context of those disposed to adverse criticism and hostility.
TRANS: Thou properest a table before me in the presence of mine
enemies.
NARR: Also I undergo a head-centred ritual which relies heavily on the
use of vegetable extract:
TRANS: Thou anointest my head with oil.
NARR: My beverage utensil experiences a volume crisis.
TRANS: (Optional) My cup runneth over.
NARR : It may be said, without fear of contradiction, that I am to be the
target focus of behaviour that falls within acceptable parameters, subject
to generous interpretation in my favour for the duration of my mortality
phase:
TRANS: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life.
NARR: And in respect of my future status concerning domiciliary rights
proximate to the Permanent Head, an assessment is confidently anticipated
such as will confer tenant rights on a permanently open-ended
time basis.
TRANS: And I will dwell in the hour of the Lord for ever.
