23rd Psalm
NARRATOR: The tenured Permanent Head of Heaven has determined,
in so far as I am concerned, that our current relationship is comparable
to a shepherd-sheep type situation.
TRANSLATOR: The Lord is my shepherd.
NARR: Further more my future is predicted on a negative need basis.
TRANS: I shall not want.
NARR: Pursuant to the provisions of the Verdant Grazing Areas Ordinance,
I assiduously adopt the recumbent posture prescribed as compulsory
by regulation therein:
TRANS: He taketh me lie down in green pastures.
NARR: Additionally, I comply with the defined intention that I proceed directionally
parallel to non-torrential aqueous liquid.
TRANS: He leaders me beside the still waters.
NARR: It appears that my psychological makeup is augmented to an
equivalent of original satisfaction levels.
TRANS: He restoreth my soul.
NARR: Furthermore, a positive behavioural format is induced by virtue of
supervised progress alone Departmentally- approved walkways relevant
to the maximal prestige of His identity.
TRANS: He leaders me in the paths of righteousness for his
name’s sake.
NARR: In respects of matters for which an affirmative intention appears
appropriate:
TRANS: Yea,
NARR: Notwithstanding that I proceed in the ambulatory mode for the
duration of the umbrageous nature depression of the earth’s surface associated
with permanent and irrevocable separation:
TRANS: Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of
Death.
NARR: It can be stated with confidence that no reasonable apprehension
can exist with regards to prospective difficulties emanating from elements
with propensity for mischief and wrong-doing:
TRANS: I will fear no evil.
