Picnic in the Plaza
On 28 November , a well-attended Picnic in the Plaza was conducted by City Uniting Church in the plaza outside its building . A number of St Margaret ’ s folk were amongst the gathered people enjoying the entertainment , food and conversation with others .
Amongst those present were a number of people from various inner North UCA congregations involved in the planning for new Inner North mission work ( including our Simon Clarke ), plus Rev Andrew Smith - Presbytery Minister ( Congregation Futures ) - who is part of the team talking with St Margaret ’ s representatives about our hoped for new Ministerial placement following Chris Lockley ’ s retirement .
