As usual there will be no issue of St Margaret ’ s News in January ., but it will return in February .
Also , during the “ season ” St Margaret ’ s folk will be on the move . The final worship service at St Margaret ’ s for 2020 will be on Christmas Day in the hall at 9 AM . After that , all are invited to attend these worship services :

And , one final thing , your editor has decided to share with you that he has just been awarded the 2020 Russell Hunt Award by the Canberra Photographic Society ( CPS ). This is in recognition of all that he does to promote photography through the Canberra Times , within the CPS , and within the Australian Photographic Society .
Contributions Wanted : All readers are invited to contribute articles about things they have done - photographs taken , jokes heard or made up , poetry written , pictures of drawings or paintings done , prayers written , art or craft made , exciting and positive news received , and whatever else might be appropriate .
Likewise , we would love to have material to put on the St Margaret ’ s Website ( or its YouTube channel ). If you are clever enough to create and send sound recordings or videos of yourself playing an appropriate piece of music on an instrument , reciting a poem , singing a hymn or some other wonderful song , performing a favourite piece , or whatever , then that would be marvellous .
The deadline for material for the next issue is 12 February 2021 , with that issue being published on 19 February . Material should be provided to the editor Brian Rope or to Lynda at the church office .
