LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
St Johns Members,
We are thrilled to be entering into February. Our first major event of the year is here, one
of our favorite events, Wine and Tapas, is this month, and construction continues moving
forward
In January, the Contractor and their teams spent much time rough grading, surveys, and
diving into the construction schedule for the next 60 days. In the next week, the concrete
footers and slab will be poured for the banquet extension. Once complete and set, framing
can begin, and we will really see the building take shape. Communications and updates on
the project will be available through our Renovation Blog at stjohnsgolf.com and through
our Facebook page. Please check these sites regularly.
We are completing our search for the next Food and Beverage Director and by mid-
month we expect to announce our newest staff member. Responsible for the oversight of
service and events through St. Johns, the F&B Director will work closely with our Food and
Beverage Counsel and Member Advisory Committee to help drive member service in our
Dining.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who participated in our One Day Member Guest. It was
amazing to see 100 participants in this annual event. We were thrilled to see so many new
faces and enjoy a great afternoon of golf and dinner. If you competed in the event, please
take time to complete the survey provided from the Golf Department with your feedback
for next year.
