About us

The editorial group of STIR is based in H . M . Prison Shotts and is made up of long-term prisoners .
We design and produce STIR , as well as , work as a creative team to select the content sent to us from people living in other Scottish prisons .
We are very aware of the positive impact art can have on people so we take great pride in publishing other prisoners ’ writing and visual artwork .
STIR is supported by Fife College staff in 13 Scottish Prisons with Lecturer Iñigo Garrido working with the editorial group producing the magazine .
