Whether you are dreaming of pasta in Italy, a roadtrip across America or even a stroll around Stillwater, it’ s all possible. Your passport doesn’ t expire with age. Neither does your bucket list.

Many people decide to put off exploring the world until retirement. But, once you get to that point in life, you become weary and doubtful.

Local travel agent Mischa Smith said,“ I don’ t feel like you are ever too old to travel. Every senior should travel. Go to all of the places you want.”
And she could not be more right. Adventure doesn’ t stop with age, it is just getting started.
There are many resources available for the senior community, ranging from local Facebook groups to tour companies specifically designed for the 55-plus crowd.
SENIORS GO TRAVEL GROUP
With over 1,600 members, this Oklahoma-based Facebook group’ s mission is to connect the senior community with all that this state has to offer. For these members, the journey starts with the community they have built.
The groups’ agenda usually ranges from arts, and museums to musicals, dining and history. They meet monthly and keep a busy calendar of events and outings across the state.
“ All travel plans are flexible, but once you buy a ticket, you own it,” said Kay Jenkins, the administrator of the group.
New members are always welcome. All you need to do is just show up to a meeting, or reach out online.
