This special ceremony is held simultaneously with the national Wreaths Across America service at Arlington National Cemetery .
It doesn ’ t take me long to capture the spirit of what she ’ s saying . The sun shines brightly today , but the wind is whipping our hair and clothes as we stand near the veteran ’ s area at Fairlawn . The short stone wall was built a long time ago , but the area was now being used for a very special purpose .
Since 2017 , every December a host of volunteers meet on these 40 acres – and in particular , this spot – to celebrate Wreaths Across America , a special remembrance service for United States veterans . The ceremony usually lasts about 30 minutes , and they synchronize with other
