Opened in 2022 , first in a different location in Stillwater on Main Street , Pure Skin and Aesthetics is a progressive business – a medical spa or “ medspa ” – in Stillwater .

It is the first of its kind here , womenowned and offering a wholistic approach to beauty , wellness , anti-aging , skincare and so much more .

For those who associate those kinds of services with Hollywood , social media influencers , reality television – botox , filler , facial peels and facial lasers – medspas offer so much more now , said “ Pure ” owner operators Jessica Halley , 45 , and Shelby Devine , 29 .
Halley attended Oklahoma State University for her undergraduate work , graduating in 2000 with a degree in marketing . She then went on to the University of Missouri Kansas City to complete her doctorate in dental surgery .
Halley and her husband , who is also a dentist , purchased an established practice in Stillwater in 2007 , Family Dental Care , and have been working there together ever since – although Halley now splits her time between her business and the practice .
Devine , prior to brainstorming Pure for nine months with Halley , was working as a nurse-injector in Oklahoma City . She has a nursing background and worked in healthcare , additionally . The two met when Devine ’ s husband helped the Halleys with a building project , and he thought there would be a connection between the two women – there was .
They became partners and launched “ Pure ,” putting beauty , antiaging , wellness and facial aesthetics on the map in Stillwater . “ It ’ s been a lot of hard work to get here ,” Halley said . “ When we started , we were doing everything – answering phones , cleaning , marketing and all in a tiny box on Main Street .
We spent every free minute we had and slowly starting add people , machine and trainings – we did so many trainings – my brain was sweating !”
For a couple years now , family time and vacation time for both women was spent on business needs . Paying bills , keeping current on trainings and equipment status , really digging in and elevating service offerings and putting everything they had into their work .
The result is that they have since moved into a new location on Duck Street , with beautiful and warm offices , happy enclaves of people and patients , a glowing ambience – in the setting and in faces there – and a serenity that comes with helping people achieve physical goals for boosting self-esteem and confidence .
Devine and Halley share the same feelings about what they have created .
“ I love patient care and I love getting to know and interacting with my patients ,” Halley said . “ I really enjoy providing services to people .
