If you like pizza and pastries , then surely you ' ve been to Nancy ' s On Main ( formerly Pizza Factory ) in Perkins . And if you haven ' t , you are truly missing out ! My family and friends have dined there for years and I was so excited when Nancy told me she was officially buying the establishment . What appeared to be a seamless transition of ownership was anything but that . Soon after the purchase , Nancy was faced with having to replace one of their two ovens and an HVAC unit . Nancy ' s determination and supportive regulars ensured that she barely missed a beat and remained open during the early challenges of business ownership .
Longtime Pizza Factory manager Nancy Cicle purchased the restaurant in July 2022 and rolled out her huge rebrand in January of this year . I ' d been curious about a name change for the pizzeria , but wondered how it would work with such an already well-established name . A quick Google search will reveal over 115 restaurants across the US named Pizza Factory , so it ' s not exactly original . In talking with Nancy about her decision , we had discussed the fact that anything named " factory " sounds like it ' s just a conveyor belt of items being quickly made and sent out the door . Nancy ' s On Main is definitely not that ! And not that this Pizza Factory was either , but she wanted a more well-suited name for her place , especially since she ' s been the face of the business for many years . Most people already thought that Nancy was the owner .
The pizza business is a family affair , with Nancy ' s three kids having worked by her side for the past several years . They ' ve all stepped up their cooking and baking skills since mom took over , and have helped upgrade the menu as well . Oldest son Andrew actually started working at Pizza Factory as a teenager , about six months
before she did ! Nancy soon followed , along with daughter Angelina and youngest son Micah . They have each developed their own styles of baking and creating recipes . Over the years , Andrew has tweaked sauces and experimented with crusts . He ' s also responsible for the decadent Creme Brulee and Tiramisu dessert options . Angelina has infused her love of all things British into her homemade scones and cookies . Micah has earned the nickname " Cinnamon Roll King " with his perfectly crafted breakfast treats . You can partake in their breakfast items on Friday mornings .

Aside from the fantastic selection of pizzas ( including Gluten-Free crust options ), you will find authentic Italian dishes like Alfredo and Lasagna . If you ' re expecting fast food " boil in a bag " dinners , you need to go elsewhere . At Nancy ' s , each dish is made-to-order with fresh ingredients each and every time . They even grate their imported Parmesan cheeses by hand . Nancy recently planted a vegetable garden to pick from as well .
