“ While policy decisions have helped each of these things along , it is our people and our neighbors who make Stillwater such a desirable place to grow and live . I am excited to see Stillwater ’ s development begin to match the spirit of our community ,” Dzialowski said .
Dzialowski is a senior principal and the national practice lead for planning and funding programs at Geosyntec Consultants , Inc ., an international environmental engineering and planning company .
She is a nationally recognized expert in state and federal programs focused on community revitalization , infrastructure , capital projects , climate resilience and environmental solutions .
Dzialowski said in her work with communities around the country , she has always admired purposeful leaders that demonstrate generosity and foster inclusion in their leadership roles even as they work on challenging systemic change .
“ I have been so fortunate in my family life , work and community service to have been surrounded by countless value-driven leaders , many of whom have been women ,” Dzialowski said .
“ While I often push for high standards and excellence in the work that we do , I am mindful that slowing down to build trust and communicate is sometimes the most important part of creating a vibrant and inclusive Stillwater ,” she said , which fosters progress in many ways .
Dzialowski was recently selected by the George Kaiser Family Foundation as an inaugural fellow with the 1050 Forward Fellowship Program . The 1050 Forward Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to strengthen civic engagement and advance collaborative strategies in micropolitan communities for positive statewide outcomes in Oklahoma .

Kimberly Meek
In December 2023 , Kimberly Meek “ hit the ground running ” as the City of Stillwater ’ s new manager . Meek replaced Norman McNickle , who worked for the City of Stillwater for four decades .
She is the first woman to hold the official position of city manager of Stillwater .
In the time since her start , a lot has happened with the City regarding big plans for infrastructure , economic and business development , a new comprehensive strategic plan for growth and people , moving forward with renovating and building exciting new education and cultural centers , and more .
Meek said her strength in the role comes from her foundation in government accounting , financial reporting and organizational leadership .
“ These foundational skills are always at the forefront of my approach . However , I have always and will always lead with intention to develop and strengthen relationships for the betterment of the community I serve ,” Meek said .
Her commitment is approached with a sophisticated management style rooted in partnerships and keeping an eye the City ’ s economic future .
“ I will continue digging deeper into our City government , other public-private sectors and private businesses to ensure economic stability for long-term sustainability ,” Meek said . “ This work will continue through relationships , creating employment opportunities , investing in existing economic growth efforts and development of new funding streams .”
