TERRITORY DISTILLING:

Offering Unique Spirits for Unique Spirits

Mason and Allyson Jones have just leveled up their business by adding a tasting room to their already successful distillery, Territory Distilling. They chose Territory as the name to pay respects to their Oklahoma roots and creating their own space( territory) by becoming Stillwater’ s first and only distillery.

After presenting business plans, purchasing equipment, navigating the world of commercial distilling, researching grain sources to designing labels, and everything in between, this passion project is firmly rooted in family. Opening a tasting room was the next logical step in making our local community feel like they’ re hanging out with friends in a really cool living room.

The laws and stipulations around operating a distillery, offering tastings and tours, and now opening a tasting room, are lengthy. Navigating a tasting room without actually being a bar has been a process as well. When you’ re a guest in the tasting room, you become you’ re own mixologist! Allyson and Mason provide the spirits, garnishes, and different syrups, but the guest blends it to their liking. It actually makes for a more interactive and immersive experience.
The couple takes pride in crafting everything by hand. From their unique spirits to homemade syrups and ginger ale, they’ ve spent years curating every element. Their signature and seasonal cocktails are created with the intention to elevate your palate and open your mind to a whole new way of enjoying liqueur.
Territory Distilling is located at 1408 S. Fern in Stillwater. Check out their Facebook page for hours and information on tours and tastings. Enjoy cocktails like Stillwater Sunshine, Fern Street Sour, or an Oklahoma Mule. They also have some pretty cool swag. You might even get a sneak peek of Allyson adding the wax seals to their bottles.
