Their pecans are popular with local restaurants and bakeries, including Homeland grocery store, the Waffle House, Red Rock Bakery, Freddie Paul’ s, The OAK Nutrition and The Haven Artisan Bakery. The business has been honored with numerous awards over the last 20 years, such as Farm Family of the Year, three conservation awards, pecan show awards and more.

“ The Hoffmans have always been great supporters of OSU’ s pecan program,” said Becky Carroll, senior Extension specialist for horticulture and landscape architecture.“ Dick helped graft trees when we relocated our pecan research to Perkins. He has consistently provided graftwood for workshops and classes and has welcomed numerous pecan management classes over the years for tours of his operation and grafting demonstrations. The Hoffmans are always available and willing to share their
SwOk knowledge when asked.”
