Ready for Fall ?
We really couldn ’ t help ourselves .
When we saw Warren Clay ’ s , aka Warren the Cowboy ’ s , reaction to being named the Top Local Celebrity in the Best of Stillwater awards , we knew we had to interview him .
Stillwater , and Oklahoma State University , has had its share of viral moments , the kind that capture nationwide attention , but Warren ’ s moment in the spotlight stood out .
Plus , it really fit well with our general direction for the August magazine .
Fall will be here before long , and for a lot of us , that means football . And Stillwater , is a football town . That hasn ’ t always been the case . There have always been diehard Cowboy fans , and there has always been a game day scene and social events that cater to game day economics , but really what we ’ re seeing now is the allencompassing embrace of a successful program .
So , for many of us , that means embracing the nostalgia that comes with past success , it means tailgating , it means seeing everything else Stillwater has to offer .
You ’ ll also notice a couple of new things . A partnership with OSU Design students gave them an opportunity to place some really thought-provoking images in print .
