These accomplishments
were possible because of individual and organizational contributions from throughout our community. For the Sheerar Museum
to succeed in its mission, we
must continue to forge community partnerships and collaborations. Those individuals
include our many volunteers,
as well as student-interns who
have brought their talent and
fresh perspective to the museum.
We have also been fortunate to
work with organizations like the
Oklahoma WONDERtorium, the
Stillwater Public Library, the
OSU Library Special Collections
and University Archives, and the
OSU Museum of Art. Their collaboration enriches our efforts to
preserve and present Stillwater’s
history. It truly does “take a
village” and we are able to accomplish so much more because
of the wonderful people and organizations throughout the community whose history we preserve. Thank you, Stillwater. We
will continue to do our best to
make you proud.
