Graduates to walk the stage at Roy Wilkins Auditorium
Congratulations , class of 2024 !
After four long years , the 2024 class of graduating seniors will be partaking in the commencement ceremony , the most formal scholastic ceremony and a representation of the district ’ s public acknowledgment of high school completion .
Seniors will arrive at Roy Wilkins Auditorium on Saturday , June 1 , by 12:15 p . m ., with their caps , gowns , and the glee that comes with the academic accomplishment of finishing high school and moving on to the next chapter in life .
After the ceremony , which begins at 1 p . m ., the seniors will become graduates and go on to pave the paths of their futures , whether that be with post-secondary education , going straight into a career , or carving their own future with the skills and knowledge gained and opportunities opened after their academic journey thus far .
Each senior got six tickets with their caps and gowns , which may not accommodate all the loved ones who wish to watch the ceremony . For anyone who cannot attend but still wishes to see the students walk across the stage and earn their diploma , Valley Access Cable TV will live-stream the ceremony on their YouTube page and broadcast it on Comcast channel 15 and 798 HD .
Lifetouch Photos will capture the moment of each senior ’ s recognition . Families can visit events . lifetouch . com to sign up for a notification when the photo proofs are online and ready to order . All students will be photographed with no obligation to purchase .
Personal pictures can be taken before and after the ceremony .
Diplomas will be distributed immediately following the ceremony in the staging area where seniors lined up .
All guests should plan to meet the graduates outside after the ceremony , as attendees will not be allowed on the floor after the ceremony .
What happens after students leave the ceremony will be up to them – they ’ ll continue carrying on the Stillwater legacy as they walk across the stage and into the future . Congrats , grads !
