Exploration is easier than you imagine
All very cool to imagine, but what of our more immediate surroundings? How often do we think of exploration in terms of what’ s just down the road? Probably not as much. We are curious by nature but still often overlook the almost infinite things we can do on only a tank of gas – depending on the price of gas.
We don’ t have within these page limitations the room for infinity, but we feel we have some pretty cool things people can explore. One can begin right here at home. You ever see the comment on social media,“ What’ s there to do here?”
When you start to actually piece together the vast amount of collected artworks, live music, sports, educational opportunities, workshops, clubs, classes and recreation – you’ ll find you have accumulated quite the calendar of events and destinations.
We’ re fewer than 50 miles from Route 66 – which turns 100 this year.
In every direction there are places dedicated to Oklahoma’ s Indigenous and frontier history.
There is so much to explore. We hope you get the
