Let’s Go to Work!

Dr. John Garr is a scholar, a theologian and
just one of my favorite authors. Dr. Garr in
his book Feminine by Design states that:
Women have the capability to change the
course of history. There is truth to the
saying: “The hand that rocks the cradle
rules the world.” However, every woman
has much more influence than what she
uses in birthing and nurturing of children.
Though for thousands of years, and in
almost every culture, women have been
limited to the role of wife and mother by
male designed, - imposed, and -policed
domestication of the female, the truth is
that the sphere of woman’s potential
reaches far beyond the cradle. When
women are not deprived of their God
designed freedom and are able to function
in the highest levels of God assigned
equality, wherein they live alongside men in
relationships of true mutuality, they are
able to blossom and flourish in any area of
life that they choose and find true selffulfillment as God intended it.
This issue's theme is "Arise." Every day as
women we mount our own personal
platforms (our stilettos) but we still do not
realize our purpose and potential. An Excert
from Dr. Chuck Pierce book entitled

the future role of women in The Church. In
