“ I think we made the right turn a couple of years and I think the direction needs to be a playoff team year in and year out ,” Knight said . “ We really look at things to go right while staying injury free . We really feel that we can make a playoff push this year . The thing that has killed us last year was Class B is monstrous and the district is brutal and we couldn ’ t keep kids from getting hurt . This year , hopefully we can stay healthy in Class C and people can really see a difference this year on the playoff push .”
The home opener for the Donkeys will kickoff at 7 p . m . Aug . 26 against Marysville . It will make one of two straight home games as they play Stephens County rival Central High in week one starting at 7 p . m . Sept . 2 .
