Isn't it amazing how time
passes by so swiftly?
It seems like it was yesterday,
I was just a little girl,
- a baby, who used to lie and sleep next to my
parents. How I always look forward to my Mom
and Dad going home from work because I miss
them constantly.
I was at the point of my life of childhood where
my world revolved around only my parents
and family. I was very dependent to them.
Everything I do was according to whatever
they have said to me. I always made sure that I
follow their teachings and lessons. They never
failed to lead me to the right path and to where
I am now.
And they never failed to remind me that life
is beautiful. They showed me that in this life,
I should learn to see and appreciate each day
that passes. I have learned to understand that
this life is about spending it with people who
love me and that I love back. I’m not perfect. I
make mistakes like any other normal person
would. But every time I stumble and fall, I have
the strength to stand up again because of those
people that give me the reasons to be tough.
Most especially, my family, who always give a
hundred percent of their love and support. They
never stopped to give me all they can to the best
of their abilities. They always show me that I am
a wonderful person who deserves to be loved
and cared for. They are one of the reasons why
I wake up each morning. They inspire me to
dream and reach for it. I thank God for giving
me the courage to believe that all things are
possible in this life. I dedicate everything to
Him. And as another year has passed, I am now
going through another adventure. A journey
through life that marks my maturity, the baby is
now a lady.
