JAGUARS PAY TRIBUTE TO LOCAL MILITARY
First Coast military, both active duty and
retired, are an important part of the fabric of
Jacksonville. The Jaguars are committed to
year-round support of these local heroes both
during their time of service and after they
transition to civilian life. In 2018, the Jaguars
hosted events on and around Veterans Day,
and will also celebrate the military during
their annual Salute to Service game on Dec.

The Jaguars, in partnership with CSX,
recognized Veterans Day this year in a
variety of ways. Jaguars alumni joined THE
ROAR and Jaxson de Ville for the City of
Jacksonville’s annual Veterans Day Parade,
while Jaguars players visited Naval Station
Mayport to tour the base’s newest destroyer,
the USS Thomas Hudner. In addition, Jaguars
players joined forces with individuals from
the Wounded Warriors Project for an evening
of camaraderie at Top Golf between athletes
and soldiers.
Since arriving Jacksonville as a free agent in
2016, Jaguars DT Malik Jackson has made
support of local military a priority through
